An international student community has been formed at the Institute. Students come from different regions of Russia, Iraq, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, etc.
Scientific and creative connections are established with such partners as Latvian Academy of Sport Education (LASE) , Riga (Latvia), Institute of Molecular Physiology and Genetics and Experimental Endocrinology of Slovak Academy of Science, Bratislava (Slovakia), Harvard Medical School, Boston (USA), University of North Texas (USA), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel, the Sport and Exercise Research Centre at London South Bank University, London (Great Britain), Independent non-profit organization 4tomorrow, Paris (France), European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (EADV), and others.
The Institute is the organizer of annual international events: the International conference on innovations in sport, tourism and education (December), International Festival of Culinary Art (November). The Institute also organizes international design events in the region. Among them there are: exhibitions of the Poster for Tomorrow International Social Poster Competition, exhibitions of the Type Director Club – the best works of international contests in the field of print and typography, workshops of international designers (Herve Matin and Bertrand Nicole, Jeff Pulaski and Joey Hannaford).
Participation in international design projects is entwined in educational process of students in the field “Technology of Artistic Material Processing”. Among students, there are winners of the Poster for Tomorrow competition, finalists at the Citizen-2020 International Student Poster Competition in the city of Skopje (Macedonia), International Students Designers Poster Contest Poster Battle in the city of Thessaloniki (Greece), the Grafers-2016 International Poster Competition (Cyprus), etc.
