In September, a unique-for-Chelyabinsk Laboratory of Simulation Learning entitled “Efficient Production” is planned to be opened on the grounds of South Ural State University’s School of Economics and Management. Student Leader of the Chelyabinsk Region 2018 Contest wrapped up on South Ural. April 6th through April 8th, 11 representatives of the Region’s institutions of higher education fought to win and gain the right to pass on to the district rounds. On April 10 through 25 of 2018, the exhibition of The Most Beautiful Books of Germany 2016&2017 is to be held in Chelyabinsk in reading room No.2 of the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library (60 Lenin prospect). The exhibition displays the winners of a similarly-named contest, the best edition-bound books of Germany by their design. This is the second time that SUSU staff takes part in organizing such exhibition.

On April 10th the Praise to Men of Labour! contest on engineering competences wrapped up at South Ural State University. This year, the participants of the final stage included representatives of five regions of the Ural Federal District: the Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk Regions, and Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District, 21 people in total.
