In the May issue of the Scientific Reports journal, a research by an international team of scientists from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, India, and Russia was published. Its topic was the advanced features of flowmeters. The team also included our fellow-countryman, Deputy Head of the SUSU Research Laboratory for Self-Validating Sensors, Systems, and Advanced Instrumentation Vladimir Sinitsin.

This research covers the use of machine learning for modelling of heat transfer in nanofluids.

Future of Artificial Intelligence in the Region Discussed at SUSU

SUSU welcomed its 8,000th applicant

South Ural State University welcomed the 8000th applicant of 2025. She is Varvara Boychenko, who chose the programmes of Polytechnic Institute and School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.

Varvara applied for several programmes: «Instrumentation Engineering», «Cybersecurity», «Design, Production, and Operation of Rockets and Rocket-Space Complexes». On the Unified State Exam, Varvara passed Russian, major Math, Physics, and Computer Science, scoring a total of 340 points.

A roundtable discussion on the topic «Implementation of strategic projects of technological leadership within the «Priority-2030 program» was held on the second day of the «Innoprom-2025» international industrial exhibition. The meeting, which was attended by the Rector of South Ural State University, Alexander Vagner, was held in the Community Center of the new UrFU campus.

The participants of the roundtable were representatives of universities, academic institutions, businesses, state authorities, public figures, and experts in the field of the topic under discussion.

The conference "Robotics Strategy. Region-county-country. The components of success" was held as a part of the business program of the country's main industrial exhibition. Alexsander Wager, the Rector of South Ural State University, performed as the speaker.

By 2030 Russia should get into the list of the TOP 25 countries in the world in terms of robotization density which implies the introduction of over 100,000 industrial robots into the technological processes of Russian companies.
