Scientists of South Ural State University invented a system assessing the state of hockey players, which will allow to not just forecast results of the athletes but also adjust their training sessions.
Festivities will be held on June 12th in honour of Russia Day – a state holiday of great importance for the history of the Russian Federation. The holiday has existed since 1992. This was the day that the Declaration of the State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic was adopted. SUSU students from various countries around the world will take part in the festivities.
In the new academic year, the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities at South Ural State University is launching a new interdisciplinary inter-department educational journalism project entitled “FactCheck-Ecology”, which is to be implemented within project-based learning while training Master’s degree students majoring in Transmedia Journalism.

The 42nd conference of the Serbian Archeological Society was held in the city of Negotin, Serbia, May 30th through June 1st. The course programme includes theoretical and practical lessons in journalism using virtual reality technology. Today, this technology confidently occupies top positions in the modern media space.

Staff of the South Ural State University Recreation Centre and members of the centre’s performance groups were honoured on June 5th.

Lecturer of the SEM Industrial Economics and Project Management Department Anna Dolinskaya and two associate professors of the SEM Department of Management, Yana Dobrynina and Aleksandr Demchenko, completed an internship for teachers at Danubius University’s Faculty of Economics (Galati, Romania) under the Erasmus+ program in May 2019.

On June 1, presentation of projects on opening of four research laboratories specialized in the spheres of materials science, mathematics, chemistry and sports was held within the International Scientific Council meeting. In 2019, four applications were submitted from South Ural State University to open 4 research laboratories.
South Ural State University presented result of operation of its unique laboratories to the International Scientific Council. These laboratories solve the most topical issues in development of digital industry technologies, research of migration processes, food industry, stress mechanisms, enhancement of properties of materials, and other prospective research directions.
In the course of discussion, members of the ISC got introduced to results of operation of eight SUSU laboratories, headed by leading scientists from different countries.
The first day of the International Scientific Council meeting concluded at South Ural State University on May 31. Notorious scientists and directors of transnational companies evaluated development of one of the leading higher education institutions in Russia and provided recommendations on improvement of the strategy.
