Online Event, South Ural Days of Philosophy, to Be Held at SUSU

A traditional cycle of events, South Ural Days of Philosophy, will take place at South Ural State University November 19th through November 21st. This year it will be held in an online format.

Since 2002, at the initiative of UNESCO, World Philosophy Day is celebrated every third Thursday in November in order to popularize philosophical knowledge. The specific feature of the annual celebration of the South Ural Days of Philosophy is that it takes place on the philosophical platforms of the city's major universities, such as SUSU, ChelSU, ChGIK, and is a joint event organized by representatives of the regional branch of the Russian Philosophical Society.

A number of activities held within the framework of South Ural Days of Philosophy will take place November 19th through November 21st. They are focused on demonstrating the modern forms of philosophical knowledge while preserving the academic resource, searching for ways to unite scientists in the translation of philosophical knowledge in the new conditions of our time, as well as showing applied and practical aspects of philosophy.
