Association of Science Editors and Publishers to Conduct Online Research and Practice Seminar for Authors

Association of Science Editors and Publishers together with Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University conducts online research and practice seminar for the authors "Development of the competencies of authors in the preparation of publications in scientific journals indexed in scientometric databases."

Students will learn about all aspects of preparing high-quality articles for their successful publication in journals that are indexed in international scientometric databases, they will be able to ask all their questions to leading specialists and experts in the editorial and publishing field.

Lectures will be delivered by:

Olga Kirillova, Candidate of Sciences (Engineering), President of the Association of Science Editors and Publishers, a representative of the local Russian Expert Council for the selection of journals in the Scopus database (RED / RCAB), an authorized Scopus consultant-expert to conduct training, consultations and prepare methodological recommendations for journals in Russia and the CIS countries, Moscow;

Anna Kuleshova, Candidate of Sciences (Sociology), the Chairman of the Council for the of Scientific Publications Ethics of the Association of Science Editors and Publishers, a Head of the Department of Publishing Programs of the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre, Executive Editor of the journal Monitoring of Public Opinion: Economic and Social Changes, Moscow;

Natalia Popova, Candidate of Sciences (Sociology), a founder of the Scientific Translations Laboratory, expert of the local Russian Expert Council for the selection of journals in the Scopus database (RED / RCAB), member of the editorial board of the journal Changing Societies & Personalitie, Yekaterinburg;

Elena Tikhonova, Candidate of Sciences (History), editor-in-chief of the electronic international scientific Journal of Language and Education, Moscow;

Yuriy Chekhovich, Candidate of Sciences (Physics and Mathematics), Executive Director of the Antiplagiat company, Moscow. 

The seminar will take place online on November 24-25, 2020.

Duration: 13 academic hours. At the end of the seminar, all participants will receive certificates.
Participation is on a fee-paying basis. For SUSU authors, participation fee is 4000 rubles per person.
To participate in the seminar, you must fill out a questionnaire, attach a certificate from the HR department (on a letterhead, with the seal of the institution) and send an application for the participation by e-mail conf[at]rasep[dot]ru by November 19, 2020 (inclusive).
