Description of the educational programme

The aim of the program is to give all the necessary knowledge to a student in a field of database design, administration and development.

Graduates with a Master’s degree are in high demand in the technical sector of any industry. Upon graduation you will be equipped to pursue a career in areas such as: distributed database management system (D-DBMS), information systems, highload systems, enterprise management systems, digital collections, corporate DBMS, data definition languages, software engineering etc.

Field of “Database Technology”

Fundamental Computer Science / Information Technologies / Database Technologies – Instruction only in English. The aim of the program is to give all the necessary knowledge to a student in a field of database design, administration and development.

A graduate will be prepared for activities that require in-depth fundamental and professional training, including research work, development of modern multi-user distributed information systems and highload systems, machine learning, creation and use of new technologies for analytical data processing implemented in form of software systems, products and services.

Graduate of this Master’s program has all the necessary knowledge to work in companies engaged in the development and implementation of multi-user distributed information systems; research centres and educational institutions that are developing new technologies for processing large amounts of data; as well as in government institutions and private companies which use highload systems in their work.
