Designing of Smart Temperature Sensors

Project Head

Vladimir Larionov, D.Sc. (Engineering), Associate Professor

Department

Information-measuring Equipment

Objective

Scientific: Creating of a real prototype of a smart temperature sensor with metrological self-monitoring, which allows to improve the accuracy of the measurements data and increase the calibration period.

Educational: Teaching modern methods of designing sensors to students, as well as intelligent processing of data from measurement experiments.

Tasks
  1. Analysing the well-known methods of building temperature sensors with metrological self-monitoring;
  2. Вuilding a mathematical model of the sensor electronics;
  3. Studying the methods of sensors calibration;
  4. Engineering the sensor’s configuration and software.

Producing a prototype model and testing it.
