On October 10 and 11, secondary school students of the Sovetsky District of Chelyabinsk got acquainted with South Ural State University in the Palace of Culture named after D.V. Kolyushchenko.

In the hall of the Palace, SUSU schools and institutes presented their sites, where students of 9th -11th grades could learn about the professions and the prospects of studying in these fields.

“School students of the Sovetsky District got a unique opportunity to meet with the institutes, schools and the university opportunities thanks to the interactive expositions and sites. The equipment shown on the sites gives a visual idea of the educational programmes of the university and further career prospects. During two days, more than 600 people visited the event. This kind of events helps to better understand the distinctiveness of a particular profession and make a conscious choice of the future specialty,” says Ivan Sukhikh, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Pre-university Training.
