SUSU Pool to be Transformed Before the New Academic Year

The South Ural State University pool is annually drained and repaired each summer. The pool will resume its work on August 1st, 2017.

“Each year, to prepare for our guests, we do the same thing: cosmetic repairs and cleaning the bottom, walls, lanes, and ceiling. It’s great when people come to swim and see that the bottom of the pool and the water are clean. After cleaning, the color of the water becomes very nice and turquoise,” said Vadim Erlich, director of the SUSU Institute of Sport, Tourism, and Service.

Cosmetic repairs are not only being done in the pool. The showers, changing rooms, and hallways are also due for repair. This year, workers began a major overhaul of the women’s group program room at SUSU. Plans include replacing the floor, installing new mirrors, making the women’s changing room larger, and repairing the restrooms. The hall is planned to be opened in September.

“Now it will look different. It will be more interesting in terms of color schemes. We are changing almost all of the windows. There will be a lot of light, many colors, and many emotions, to be sure,” added Vadim Erlich.

The price policy of the complex has not changed over the last few years and this year is no exception. In addition, there are bonus programs, thanks to which the cost of lessons is further reduced.
