KSTATI Popular Science Festival: Registration is Open!

The large-scale festival of popular science, "KSTATI. Coordinate System" will be held from April 18th to 21st in Chelyabinsk. A large, highly-charged program is waiting for those who are not indifferent to the topics of science and self-improvement.

As a reminder, more than 10 festival events will be held all around the city in Chelyabinsk’s academic and educational institutions; one of the largest will be South Ural State University – the epicenter of the South Ural region’s scientific life.

The popular science festival is targeted to a large audience – the various formats make it simultaneously attractive to school students, pedagogues, students, and all those interested in modern popular science.

Participants of the KSTATI festival will include MSU professor Pavel Plechov (Moscow); senior research member of the MSU Sternburg Astronomical Institute, Vladimir Surdin (Moscow); main editor of the popular science journal Redaktor, Ilya Kabanov (Moscow); head of the Early Engineering Education for Children, Anatoliy Sherpkh (Saint Petersburg); chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of SPSTU, Andrey Akatov (Saint Petersburg); head of the Russian Theremin School, Pyotr Termen (Saint Petersburg); research staff of the ICBFM SB RAS, Daniil Gladkikh (Novosibirsk).

Chelyabinsk residents can look forward to Science Drama, a creative breakfast, an intellectual talk show “Science. Tasty.” and “Examine down to the atoms”, a concert for the unique electrical musical instrument – the theremin, public lectures, and different events.
