On March 17-18, 2017 associate professors of the Department of Labor, Social Law and Jurisprudence of SUSU Datsko Natalia and Shafikova Galiia took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Trends in the Development of Labor and Other Sector Specific Social Legislation: Problems, Research and Solutions". The organizers of the forum were Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Pyatigorsk State University, Almaty branch of the St. Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Sciences. The meetings were held on the site of one of the prestigious universities of Kazakhstan - the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.
Scientists and practitioners from large universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, over 10 regions of the Russian Federation, including Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic and others discussed the current problems of trade union movement at the present stage. Representatives of the judicial authorities of the three states raised questions of preventing and solving labour disputes.
On behalf of the Director of the Institute of Law of SUSU, the head of the Department of Labor, Social Law and Jurisprudence Shafikova Galiia participated in signing the agreement on international scientific cooperation between the institutes of the universities.
