Within the framework of new course "Modern technologies of public opinion management in international communication", which is studied by students of different majors of SUSU Faculty of Journalism in English, the meeting with our countryman and now USA resident Danil Kabanko took place. At the present time he is the owner of small but quite stable and profitable business in Atlanta.
The students, who attended the meeting with a young businessman, were interested in the peculiarities of advertising and marketing activity in America; also they asked some questions concerning his personal adaptation in the conditions of western culture. Our guest told them in details about the key elements of American advertisement market and noted that the knowledge of English language is a significant part of the professional education.
Faculty of Journalism students got a great opportunity to talk to our guest in English, have an interview with him which would be published in the University mass media. Then the students within the framework of new course "Modern technologies of public opinion management in international communication" prepared their summaries in English. It the end of the meeting Danil Kabanko congratulated students and professors with the coming 70th anniversary of South Ural State University and wished them further prosperity and progress.
