SUSU Faculty of Psychology is recognized by the psychological community as the training center for professional improvement of practicing psychologists.
February 20, SUSU held a seminar for psychologists of preschool and general education institutions which were seriously damaged after the “meteorite shower”.
Acting Dean of Faculty of Psychology, Chairman of Regional Offices of Russian Psychological Society and Association of Educational Psychologists of the Russian Federation, Elena L. Soldatova, opened the seminar saying that the significant attention should be paid to the children who appeared in the center of damages and who needed psychological support.
Associate professors Shlyapnikova I.A., Gudkova E.V, Berebin M.A. and Professor Soldatova E.L. represented their reports concerning the detection of “high-risk groups”, stress symptoms and post traumatic condition. The psychologists should pay the greater attention to the above mentioned factors to overcome risky conditions and psychological traumas of children and adults.
Psychologists of the educational institutions thanked the organizers of the seminar for clearly presented information, which would help them in their professional activity thus they emphasized the high-productivity of such meetings.
