The projects of students of Mass Communication Department of SUSU Faculty of Journalism were considered to be the best in IV International Competition of professional achievements in PR and advertising sphere called "Golden Sable" (Novosibirsk).
The Competition was held within several months among practicing specialists in the sphere of PR and advertising, press services and corporate mass media, students and professors; and at the end of November in Novosibirsk the public presentations of the winners' projects took place. For the expert judgement the best projects in PR and advertising sphere from all over Russian and the near abroad, including the projects prepared by students of Mass Communication Department in five leading nominations, had been chosen. The awarding ceremony was organized in Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Hall. The following winners had been announced: in nomination "Best Student's Advertising Project" - Irina Petukhova and Marina Tyurina, five year students of SUSU; in nomination "Best Student's Project in PR Theory" - Darya Nikiforova, four year student. At the end of Competition these girls became the holders of the main prize - unique statuette "Golden Sable".
The representative of SUSU Faculty of Journalism also became the diploma holders in such nominations as "Best Educational Program in Advertising" (research supervisor - Lidiya Kamilovna Lobodenko, Head of Mass Communication Department), "Best Educational Program in PR" (research supervisor - Larisa Valeryanovna Pellenen, Associate Professor), "Best Student's PR-Project" (authors - Kseniya Botova, Kseniya Klepinina, Darya Nikiforova and Oksana Frolova, students).
Lyudmila Petrovna Shesterkina, Dean of Faculty of Journalism, thinks that at the present time Mass Communication Department is at the high creative, methodic and technological level of educational process organization and the result of it is the victory in so prestigious Competition "Golden Sable". The extreme attention should be payed to the curator who organizes the participation of students in different competitive events, Aliya Anuvarovna Dobrikova, Research Supervisor and Mass Communication Department Professor.
