Joint projects of SUSU Faculty of Journalism and Institute of International Education

Faculty of Journalism together with SUSU Institute of International Education presented a program "School of Journalism in Prague" for the students who study in the sphere of journalism, advertising, public relations and philology.

The event has been started with the speech of Lyudmila Ivanovna Shestakova, Director of Institute of International Education. Lyudmila Shestakova told the students and professors of Journalism Faculty about the professional internships and international programs of academic mobility which are realized by SUSU together with the universities of the USA, Spain, China, Germany, France, Poland and other countries.

The second part of the event was dedicated to the educational program "School of Journalism in Prague". The students who successfully took part in this project in 2012 shared their impressions about the school and the country itself. They told how they got acquainted with broadcasting station "Svoboda/Svobodnaya Evropa" ("Liberty/Free Europe"), Russian editorial office of Czech National radio "Praga" ("Prague") and private Czech TV channel "Metropol". Then the students shared their unforgettable impressions about the excursions and walks they had in Prague.  

Lyudmila Petrovna Shesterkina, Dean of Faculty of Journalism, noted: "The participation in International Project "School of Journalism in Prague" and other projects of Institute of International Education brings the journalism education in SUSU at the international level and also gives our students a unique opportunity to enlarge their knowledge and undergo training in the foreign mass media".
