Professionals of the Future Championship Will Be Held at SUSU

The opening ceremony of the South Urals Professionals of the Future Championship on Technological Strategy will be held in Room 408 (Main University Building) on May 25th starting from 10:00. The teams will be competing in developing solutions to real production problems in two categories: Aerospace, and Transport Technologies.

Participants of the championship in the Aerospace category will be solving a production problem on creating an unmanned aircraft system in the conditions of the Android Technics enterprise. Those, who are engaged in the Transport Technologies category, will be facing a different task: to develop measures on improving transport logistics of the Chelyabinsk Region.

“Any student aged 16 to 35, regardless of their speciality, can participate in the championship. Teams consist of 3 to 5 people. While participating in the championship, students will learn how to make important organizational and project decisions, gain teamwork experience and improve their soft skills and hard skills,” says the head of the South Urals Professionals of the Future case movement, Deputy Director for Extracurricular, Discipline and International Activities of the Institute of Engineering and Technology Ivan Ilyin.

All participants will receive expert examination of their solutions from leading industry experts, as well as certificates and prizes. Best students will be included in the Personnel reserve of the movement and will be invited to take internships in partner companies.

The championship is organised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and supported with a grant for the development of civil society from the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, provided by the South Ural Civil Initiatives Support Fund.
