The All-Russian contest of Digital Technologies in Tourism and Hospitality is dedicated to the current aspects of applying digital technologies in the field of tourism and hospitality. The contest was held in several nominations. Students competed in an essay competition on the topic of Digital Transformation and End-to-End Technologies in Tourism. The contest of research works was named Automation of the Activities of Enterprises in the Field of Tourism and Hospitality. In addition, in the framework of a competition there was a contest of advertising materials and offers for promoting tourist services Digital Marketing and Promotion of Services on the Internet and a contest of projects Virtual Tours and Augmented Reality Technologies. Two more contests were dedicated to photo and video projects: the photography contest Tourism in Photography and the video contest Travelling in Video Format.
Students of South Ural State University Irina Tarasova and EvgeniyaYufereva, supervised by the Head of the Department of Tourism and Socio-Cultural Service, Professor, Doctor of Sciences (Pedagogy) Tatiana Tretyakova, took first place in the Automation of the Activities of Enterprises in the Field of Tourism and Hospitality nomination. The research work was conducted on the topic of Robotization as a Modern Trend of Innovative Technologies in the Field of Tourism and Hospitality.
