SUSU Welcomes the Participants of the Final Round of the “Prometheus” All-Russian Student Olympiad

The Olympiad is held in two categories: the English Language, and the German Language. More than 800 students from 20 Russian universities took part in the qualifying round, which took place online in the form of electronic testing. Participants who successfully passed the qualifying round have been invited to the final round, which takes place at South Ural State University April 8th through April 9th.

Students from 15 Russian universities from Tomsk, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Ulyanovsk, Yugorsk, Samara, Dimitrovgrad, and Chelyabinsk take part in the final round.

The final round includes two contests: a report with a presentation on a given topic (home assignment), and assignments aimed at solving communication problems and improving creative competence.

The goal of the Prometheus Olympiad is to promote scientific knowledge among students, increase the motivation of young people to study foreign languages and world culture, assess the knowledge in the field of foreign languages, and unite the big community of students according to their interests.

The winners will be awarded diplomas and prizes.
