School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science Invites to a New IT Standup

The next IT-Standup of School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science will take place on March 24. The topic of the event is “How JetBrains Helps to Work with Big Data”.

The participants of the seminar will learn how the JetBrains tools for Data Science and Big Data help big data engineers in their work. This time the invited guest is Nikita Ashikhmin, a graduate of the Department of System Programming, a programmer at JetBrains company (Saint Petersburg).

In this stand-up Nikita will talk about his career at JebBrains, how the company works from the inside. After that, the participants will discuss how the Data Engineer differs from the Data Scientist, what modern solutions are there for working with Big Data, and how Big Data Tools from JetBrains simplifies the work process for Data Engineer.

IT-Standup is carried out on the basis of REC for Machine Learning and Mobile Development of the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, with the support of Napoleon IT.
