On December 5th, in Children’s Park named after Valentina Tereshkova, a ceremony of an ice-skating rink opening was held. The event coincided with the round of selecting participants for the “Student Teams on Ice” regional creativity contest. Students of South Ural State University took part in the contest and made it to the finals.
According to the results of the selection round, representatives of 3 SUSU student teams made it to the finals. They are:
1. Anna Egupova, “Vitya” student pedagogical team.
2. Alisa Valiakhmetova, “Avalon” first student service team.
3. Ilgiz Sultanov, “Shtil” first student service team.
The organisers of the “Student Teams on Ice” regional creativity contest are the Headquarters of the SUSU Student Labour Unions and the Chelyabinsk Regional Division of the Russian Student Teams All-Russian Public Youth Organisation. The contest finals will be held on December 17th. In the course of the event, the participants will have to demonstrate a performing on ice showing their emotions from the student teams’ life.
“The contest “Student Teams on Ice” is organized for the first time. Our whole team of organizers believes that this event will help create an atmosphere of celebration and give the finalists an opportunity to show their talents and find new points of growth,” says master of the Headquarters of the SUSU Student Labour Unions Anna Iavnova.
