The Institute of Architecture and Construction of South Ural State University and the KNAUF company invite student teams to take part in the competition on solving non-standard technological problems.
The competition on “Volumetric printing of building products and architectural forms on a construction 3D printer using KNAUF materials” is held among student teams of the third and fourth years of study of Bachelor’s degree programmes, and the first and second years of study of Master’s degree programmes at universities of Russia and neighbouring countries in order to increase the interest of students in research and find the gifted youth.
Applications from teams are accepted in a free form until December 20, 2020 to the following e-mail: orlovaa[at]susu[dot]ru.
Terms of the competition:
Round 1 – 29.01.2021; Round 2 – 26.02.2021; Round 3 – 31.03.2021.
A complex assessment of projects will be carried out: taking into account the description of the idea; goals and objectives of the project; mechanism of project implementation; evaluating the economic efficiency of the project; compliance of the product obtained in the third round with the project; and the quality of the product obtained in the third round.
The winning team of the Competition will be determined by the Organizing Committee of the academic and teaching staff of the SUSU Department of Building Materials and Products and the KNAUF company.
Winners will be awarded certificates, money reward, or souvenirs determined by the Organizing Committee of the Competition.
