SUSU Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service Holds the 5th International Conference

 

The Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service of South Ural State University is holding the 5th International Conference on Innovations in Sport, Tourism and Education icISTIS-2020 December 3 through December 4, 2020.

The opening ceremony will be held on December 3rd at 9:00 by Аleksandr Shestakov, Rector of South Ural State University (National Research University), Doctor of Sciences (Engineering), Professor, Honoured Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Council of University Rectors of the Ural Federal District, Vice-President of the Russian Rectors’ Union.

The participants of the conference are:

Leonid Oder, Minister of Physical Education and Sports for the Chelyabinsk Region, Honoured Coach of the Russian Federation

Andrey Minchenko, Deputy Minister of Economic Development for the Chelyabinsk Region

Vadim Erlikh, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Director of the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service of SUSU (NRU), Doctor of Sciences (Biology), Professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sports at SUSU (NRU)

The first day of the conference will be dedicated to the presentation of the innovative developments by the leading scientists of SUSU NRU regarding servo-drive based “smart” weight benches with variable load. And the GTO CAPITAL (Ready for Labour and Defence) program as a tool for strategic planning in the field of physical education and sports will be discussed.

A new tourist cluster, of which the Taganay National Park is a constituent part, will be created in the Chelyabinsk Region. Within the framework of the conference, it is planned to disclose and discuss its multiplier effect.

International scientists from Romania, Serbia, and France will also join the open discussion on the online platform.

In the course of the second day of the conference (December 4th) plenary reports and discussions on artificial intelligence technologies in the field of sports are planned, the legal regime of personal data of athletes and the ethics of digital technologies, the legal status of a sports judge, and of course the new challenge Sports in the Context of COVID-19 will be analysed.
