Emerson Corporation and School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science Invite Students to Advanced Training Courses

Emerson Corporation and the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science invite students and postgraduates interested in industrial automation to take advanced training courses.

The 2020-2021 advanced training program from Emerson company is aimed at developing the competencies necessary for professional activities in the design, implementation, and operation of modern automated process control systems.

The training will be held in a new laboratory utilizing innovative technologies by Emerson.

Program content and features:

  • Overview of the Main Modern Automation Tools
  • Use of Wireless Technologies in Industrial Automation
  • Virtualization of Automation Tools
  • Digital Twins and Operator Training Simulator Systems
  • Cyber Security in Industry
  • Systems for Diagnostics and Maintenance of Intelligent Industrial Sensors
  • 70% of the course is practical training

Timeframe:

  • December 2020 - submitting applications for participation in the program
  • February-May 2021 - classes
  • Course load - 72 hours

Participation in the program is free for SUSU students. Upon successful completion of the course, students are awarded a certificate of advanced training.
