SUSU Takes Part in the Russian Educational Exhibition in Mongolia

For the first time the staff members of South Ural State University are taking part in the Russian Educational Exhibition, which will be held in an online format in Mongolia until December 10th.

The event is held by the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Mongolia jointly with OOO Tumad Education with the support of the Russian Embassy in Mongolia, the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia, the Department of Education of the capital of 21 aimags (regions) of Mongolia, the Mongolian Association of Graduates of the Russian (Soviet) Higher Educational Institutions, and the Union of Mongolian Friendship Societies.

The main goal of the online exhibition is to prepare for the selection campaign for the 2021/22 academic year, which will take place in the beginning of the next year. The key objectives of the annual exhibition and conference are the following: all-round assistance to the promotion of the Russian education in Mongolia, demonstration of its relevance and competitiveness, as well as informing about the possibilities of using intergovernmental quotas for free education in Russian universities.

South Ural State University is taking part in this event for the first time. Information about SUSU can be found in the University Pavilions section.

“Our university is a multinational one, and that’s why we’re taking part in the educational exhibition. We are interested in attracting applicants from Mongolia. In total, during the existence of the university, we have had a little more than 20 students from Mongolia, and we would like to welcome more of them!” says Valeria Chachina, a specialist from the International Student Support.

This year, the exhibition is carried out via an online information and communication platform on the website. Visitors of the online exhibition have the opportunity to contact the university they like in real time using various gadgets and ask any questions using the Facebook chat or video communication, which will be available to all universities participating in the exhibition. More information can be found in the online exhibition participant manual.

On December 1st, South Ural State University will have the opportunity to deliver a self-presentation on the platform. It will be attended by a SUSU graduate from Mongolia Hurelsuh Anhceceg, who will talk about her studies at the university and share useful information for international applicants.

Due to the difficult epidemiological situation, the 2020 Admissions Campaign in South Ural State University was held online. More than 12 thousand applications were submitted for training, including those of international students from 58 countries.
