International Academic Mobility in the Context of the Pandemic

An international webinar on the topic of the Bologna Process as a Factor of Internationalization and International Mobility Development was held.

Staff members of the International Research Collaboration of the SUSU International Office took part in this event. Representatives of the Office of Erasmus+ in Russia and the Dutch National Agency Erasmus+ acted as the organisers.

The Bologna system sets an important vector for developing higher education: a vector for collaboration and development. The webinar was attended by experts on the Bologna Process from the Netherlands and representatives of Russian universities, more than a hundred people in total. The participants shared their experience in the implementation and development of the Bologna higher education system in the academic environment.

The creation of a common space for learning and studying is an urgent task for the entire international community, but the current situation sets its own rules in terms of the pandemic. The speakers focused on the need to apply the tools of the process, as well as to search for new forms of academic mobility.

The webinar resulted in considering the alternatives for holding events to carry out projects: in a mixed and distance format.

The next webinar on academic mobility in the context of the pandemic will be held on December 3rd. The working language is English.

Registration is open till December 1st.
