Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, Political Science and Regional Studies at South Ural State University Maksim Gutenev took part in "The Arctic. Made in Russia" All-Russian Youth Educational Forum as a consultant working with participants in the field of Regional Studies. The Forum was held in Arkhangelsk September 6th through September 12th.

The Forum brought together young professionals involved in the research of the Arctic and the entire North in general. As part of the task, teams of young specialists worked on the creation of the most effective concepts for the development of small and medium businesses in the Arctic region, taking into account the development of the Northern Sea Route and port infrastructure.
The work of the Forum made it possible to lay the foundation for the formation of a youth staffing for the implementation of strategic projects in the territory of the Arctic. The Forum was attended by such speakers as: Aide to the President of Russia Vladimir Medinskii, Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko, General Director of Rosatomflot Mustafa Kashka, Acting Governor of the Arkhangelsk Region Aleksandr Tsybulskii and other well-known experts.

During the Forum, Maksim Gutenev took part in discussions of topical issues with Vladimir Medinskii and Mustafa Kashka, and established scientific contacts with OOO Gazprom VNIIGAZ.
Maksim received a letter of thanks for his assistance in organizing the Youth Educational Forum of the federal level.
