Institute of Engineering and Technology: “The Best among the First 2020!”

The leadership of the Institute of Engineering and Technology is holding a reception for the best first-year students. Nearly 200 freshmen were invited to this ceremony because they passed the first exams session in their lives only with “good” (B) and “excellent” (A) grades, and 56 of them are straight A students.

The event will be held in the conference hall of the Sigma building (78в Lenina Prospect) on March 2nd of 2020

The IET director Sergey Vaulin wants to personally thank the students for their excellence in their studies, for the hard work and patience that they showed when preparing for their classes and during the exam session, and wish them good luck in their professional activities. The students will be presented with souvenirs and certificates of commendation for their academic achievements. The 5 best students of the Institute, who not only got top marks, but also serve as group presidents, participate in the sports or social life of the Institute, or have succeeded in Olympiads, will be awarded certificates.

As the Institute director stated, the fact that these young people proved themselves to be focused and hard-working students is a big credit to their parents. Therefore, all of the parents will receive letters of gratitude, in which Mr. Vaulin expresses his sincere appreciation and gratitude for the upbringing they provided to their son or daughter, wishes them prosperity, health, and for them to only have pride for their child going forward.

In his speech, Sergey Vaulin will discuss the strategic fields of development for the IET faculties and the possibilities that the Institute provides for the self-fulfilment of independent, creative-thinking, focused, and hard-working students.
