“Transformation of Electoral Behaviour in Russia in the Face of Digital Revolution” open lecture will be held in the main building of South Ural State University. The speaker of the lecture is Nikita Tregubov, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, Politology and Regional Studies of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications.
The lecture will cover the issue of media influence on the Russian voters in the context of digital revolution in the beginning of the 21st century. The main sources of information are the empirical results of the Russian Election Studies (RES) project, which are publicly available on the Harvard University website.
The following issues are to be discussed as part of an open lecture:
- Theory and methods of the Russian Election Studies data analysis.
- Transformation of media consumption models and electoral behaviour at the parliamentary elections in contemporary Russia.
- Influence of internal and external factors on the media consumption models of the Russian voters.
- Influence of media consumption models on the electoral behaviour of the Russian voters.
