On December 13, South Ural State University opened its own brand studio. The brand studio is a store of office supplies, clothing, hats, backpacks, and other useful items, which depict the logotype of South Ural State University.
Rector of SUSU, Alexandr Shestakov, told about his impressions after visiting the brand studio. We will note that Alexandr Leonidovich became the first buyer.
“We’ve been going to do something like that for a long time, but I didn’t think it would be so stylish and beautiful. We needed to have things with the university logotype, which we would distribute among academics and students. This is another good event on the anniversary week of our university! Today I purchased a portable phone charger here. I often go on business trips, I constantly lack charging on my smartphone, and this is a very useful thing! ”
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of SUSU, Andrei Shmidt, explained why the idea of creating a brand studio appeared and what its mission for the university is.
“The idea appeared a long time ago, since the beginning of the university’s participation in the Project 5-100. At the leading universities of the world, both in Oxford and Cambridge, you can see that in their territories there are institutions which offer various products and university symbols to students, academics and guests, so of course the opening of the brand studio is an integral part of our promotion to the global market of education and science.”
Director of Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities Elena Ponomareva was also one of the first buyers in the brand studio. She noted the features of the studio, its functions and the range of products.
“The brand studio gives the university the things, which it has been in need for, for a long time. This is our face; this is the image of the university. We have a large number of contacts both academic and strategic, so it is very nice that we have souvenirs to give as presents. We can express our corporate spirit through symbolism, because it is very pleasant to write with a pen on which the logotype of the university is. Moreover, there are very modern and high-quality products, they are beautiful and trendy! Today I bought two polo-neck T-shirts, black and red. These colours fit the literary style, as well as the colours of the roulette, which symbolize fortune!”
The brand studio of SUSU is open to all comers in building 2 (Lenin Prospekt, 85), room 116.
