A Happy New Year corporate video contest in which schools and institutes of our university participated took place at South Ural State University.
Over December, students and teaching staff worked over a special contest task – to shoot creative New Year greetings video which would express the holiday atmosphere and corporate spirit of the SUSU schools and institutes.
The contest was held in three nomination categories: “The most teamed-up New Year greeting”, “The most unexpected New Year greeting” and “New Year spirit”; the majority of SUSU institutes, schools, student organizations and even several departments took part in the contest, creating New Year-themed videos by their own efforts.
It should be noted that all creators of New Year videos demonstrated outstanding journalistic, actor, videography and directing skills, the ability to generate a creative atmosphere on set, and a good taste in choosing artistic-expressive onscreen means. Special attention deserved personal participation of subdivision leaders – Head of the International Affairs Division, Olga Yaroshenko, Director of the ISTS, Vadim Erlikh, and others; their New Year greetings were especially relevant and creative.
On New Year’s Eve, organizer and jury of the contest summarized results of the New Year’s corporate video contest and named the winners.
Results of the Happy New Year Video Contest:
Category “New Year spirit” – First Place Diploma – Institute of Linguistics and International Communication;
Category “The most unexpected New Year greeting” - First Place Diploma received both the Institute of Natural Sciences and the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service;
Category “The most teamed-up New Year greeting” - First Place Diploma – School of Economics and Management.
Special Diplomas of the Happy New Year Video Contest in a category “For creative approach in shooting video greetings” were given to:
− International Affairs Division and Association of International Students;
− Student Council of the School of Economics and Management;
− Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities;
− Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities;
− School of Medical Biology.
