This year more than 200 students from Turkmenistan, China, Mongolia, Iraq, Jordan, Laos, Egypt, Sri-Lanka, Yemen, Syria, Indonesia, etc. participated in Total Dictation. This is the record number in the country.
Participants performed test assignments based on the text of the dictation, whose author this year has become Leonid Yuzefovich. The most difficult was writing the text, and also the assignment for checking the degrees of comparison of adjectives. We should note that many international students have been studying Russian for less than a year.
Organizers of the Total Dictation for SUSU international students from the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication noted growing interest to the events promoting Russian language, and awarded 16 participants with memorable prizes.
