On July 8-18 the VI International Youth Industrial Forum "Engineers of the Future 2016" was held on the territory of the Udmurt Republic. The forum was organized by the Union of Machine Builders of Russia jointly with the Government of the Udmurt Republic with the support of the "Rostekh" state corporation. First Deputy Chairman of the Industry Committee, First Vice-President of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia Vladimir Gutenev participated in the forum.
The forum was focused on nine areas (faculties). For the first time South Ural State University was represented by the team consisted of the University's students, masters and PhDs, who carried out the work in the field of Radio Electronics." Besides, the staff of the Faculty of Pre-university Training performed as speakers of the forum. Let us remind that SUSU became the forum partner in 2015 and took part in its organization.
"We would like to note the significance of the events of business program, namely, round tables devoted to the problems of improving the quality of education, as well as the role played by universities in the process of interaction with the business. The forum sports program, including competition in 12 different areas and tours that acquainted the participants with the traditions and sightseeing attractions of the Udmurt Republic," - said Dean of the Faculty of Pre-university Training Iuliia Bolotina.
One of important events for the University in the framework of the forum is a business meeting with the representatives of Kamaz OJSC and the discussion of plans of further interaction with the company.
Forum "Engineers of the Future" has been recognized as a unique platform for the exchange of professional experience between Russian and foreign young scientists and specialists of industrial enterprises. The forum participants have the opportunity to discuss topical issues with the leaders of the largest industrial enterprises of Russia and representatives of public authorities.
