According to official representatives of Jordan, SUSU is included in the list of the world prestigious universities recommended for studies by the Government of this Middle Eastern country. In 2015 SUSU have entered into a partnership agreement with Tafila Technical University. The delegation of this University visited the Southern Urals and highly praised technical capabilities of innovation laboratories of SUSU. It was decided to maintain bilateral cooperation.
In 2015 a postgraduate student from Iraq Al-Delfi Jawad Kadhim under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences, Doctor of Science (Physics, Mathematics) Alevtina Viktorovna Keller successfully defended a candidate’s dissertation on the subject of “Analysis of confluent holomorphic groups in quasi-Banach space”. Al-Delfi Jawad Kadhim attended Russian courses in Saratov in 2011-2012. He has a good command of Russian and defended his thesis in Russian.
It should be noted that SUSU has been actively collaborating with representatives of the educational market of Arab countries. The number of foreign students from this region is over 170 people. More than 30 graduates are happy holders of SUSU diplomas.
