XXIII Chelyabinsk Youth Intellectual Forum “Step into the Future – Galaxy of YSTC” completed its work in the framework of South Ural Intellectual and Social Programme for Youth and Schoolchildren “Step into the Future …”. According to statistical data of municipal and regional schools over 7 thousand schoolchildren have participated in competitions of the Forum this year. 86 research works were sent to Moscow for a distance round of the Russian Youth Science Forum “Step into the Future”.
The closing ceremony of XXIII South Ural and Chelyabinsk Youth Intellectual Forum “Step into the Future – Galaxy of YSTC” will be held in the assembly hall of SUSU on January 22 at 14:00.
On this day young researches will receive diplomas and medals based on the results of their presentations at the scientific and practical conference, in the youth exhibition of Scientific and Technical Creativity, in such competitions as “Technology of Creative Thinking”, “Technology of Memory and Logic Improvement”, and “What, Where, When?”. Schools, lyceums and gymnasiums will be awarded with scientific and intellectual cups of the programme “Step into the Future” based on the results of the Forum events.
The best award winners will defend the honor of Chelyabinsk in the Baltic Science and Engineering Competition (Saint Petersburg, February 2016), All-Russian Youth Science Forum “Step into the Future” (Moscow, March 2016), and All-Russian Olympiad of Young Researches “Galaxy” (Korolev, April 2016).
The All-Russian Socio-Scientific Programme for Youth and Schoolchildren “Step into the Future” was established 25 years ago. According to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. 573 of May 20, 1998) the programme “Step into the Future” is a constituent part of the state policy in the field of staff support for Russian science. In 2005 the programme “Step into the Future” received the Presidential Award as a leading support programme for young Russian scientists.
The head of the Chelyabinsk Municipal and Regional Coordination Center of YSTC “Intellectuals of XXI c.” of the South Ural Intellectual and Social Programme for Youth “Step into the Future”, the chairman of the regional branch “Russian Youth Polytechnic Society”, deputy head of the Methodological Department of SUSU Evgeny Kuzmin is one of coauthors and developers of the All-Russian programme “Step into the Future”.
