Faculty of Journalism appeals to start the new year with the good!

A charitable fancy-dress ball was held at Faculty of Journalism. In the hall of SUSU main building the students were able not only to participate in master classes on old dances and play favourite games around beautiful Christmas tree but also to take part in a charitable contribution “We are near by”.

Christmas tree, music, tangerines…Every participant who brought a toy for a child received a mask as a present and load of good mood. That day the holiday came to life in every heart.

A choreographer of the historical dance studio “Gattaka” went on the ball and held master classes on waltz and quadrille for the guests. The students and professors of Faculty of Journalism mastered together unsophisticated dancing pas, and then they danced to music and falling snow around the Christmas tree. The hosts of the event Vsevolod Chinilov and Roman Baranov offered to the guests to take their hand at drawing the Princes and Princesses and compete in speed and dexterity in everybody’s favourite “Rucheyok”.

In the course of the ball a charitable contribution “We are near by” was held. The students-journalists collected presents for children of onco-hematology department of Chelyabinsk regional Children's Clinical Hospital. Books, toys, colouring books, creative work sets and many other things will be a pleasant new-year surprise for the guys who live unfortunately in the hospital wards. The students of Journalism Faculty appeal to start the new year with kind deeds!
