Book Presentation at Automobile and Tractor Engineering Faculty

 
16 November SUSU Pushkin's Hall was crowded. Here there was a meeting of first year students and professors of Automobile and Tractor Engineering Faculty dedicated to the presentation of book "Lev Grigorevich Aniskin".
 
The fact that the meeting of first year students, graduates and professors of the Faculty took place on Tolerance Day is quite symbolic. That day the people came to recollect about those who took part in establishing of the Faculty.
 
Book "Lev Grigorevich Aniskin" is a part of biographic series "Engineers" within the Project "Our Lives connected with Ural". This Project has been created to tell us about famous citizens of the Ural Region, considerable Russains who lived and worked here at different times. The series "Engineers" presents talented designers, technologists, technical officers and leading technical scientists. The book about Lev Grigorevich Aniskin, whose live was dedicated to the automobile transport development, establishment of the workshop of his engineering departments - Automobile Transport and Automobile Transport Operation at SUSU, is the first one in the series.
 
In 1949 Lev Grigorevich Aniskin became the first graduate of Chelyabinsk Mechanical Engineering Institute who got the Diploma with honours. He worked as a laboratory assistant than he became a postgraduate. In 1955 Lniskin L.G. defended the master's thesis and started to work in ChPI (Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute). For six years he was the Head of Institute scientific department than for two years he was Vice Rector of science and all those years he gave classes for students. For more than 15 years he was the Head of Automobile Transport Department and for about twenty years Aniskin L.G. was the Dean of Automobile and Tractor Engineering Faculty.
 
Lev Grigorevich Aniskin became the history of the Faculty. He was called "Guru".
 
Everyone recollects about him with warmth and gratitude and everybody remembers him as an intelligent and helpful person. The speeches of people who knew him were ful of recognition. His colleagues, graduates and veterans of the Faculty who worked and studied under the supervision of Lev Grigorevich Aniskin at different times shared their recollections.
 
The book "Lev Grigorevich Aniskin" was presented by its author Aleksandr Petrovich Moiseev, writer, Chief Editor of "Abris" and graduate of Automobile Transport Department of 1961.
 
Igor Strizhkov, Deputy Chief of Students Union, being sincere on behalf of all the students said: "I'm proud that I'm a student of Automobile and Tractor Engineering Faculty. Our life is filled up not only with studies but also with events and meetings with interesting people".
 
At the meeting the guests enjoyed the performance of instrumental group headed by Valery Khramytskikh.
