Early in December the second round of the Report-and-election Conference was held by the Student Union of South Ural State University. A new Chairman of the Student Union was elected at the meeting.
Every year, on December 9th, the Heroes of the Fatherland Day is celebrated in Russia. The memorable date of the Heroes of the Fatherland Day was established by the State Duma of the Russian Federation on January 26, 2007. On this day, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation, as well as holders of the Order of St. George and the Orders of Glory are honoured.

And first of all, schoolchildren and students (and that means the entire education system) have had to get used to the rearranged reality.
The Government of the Russian Federation has summarized the results of the selection among research and education centres (REC), which competed for being granted the state support. The World-class Ural Interregional Research and Education Centre for Advanced Industrial Technologies and Materials (UIREC) has been recognized among the best ones and been awarded the status of a federal centre along with additional financing for its projects. The total of 5 winners have been selected from among 20 participants by the Council for the World-class Research and Education Centres.

The 2020-2021 advanced training program from Emerson company is aimed at developing the competencies necessary for professional activities in the design, implementation, and operation of modern automated process control systems.
The training will be held in a new laboratory utilizing innovative technologies by Emerson.
As part of the Telezachet competition, 6 categories were presented. In total, 77 teams from 37 universities (members of the Association of Technical Universities) took part in it. The aim of the competition is to develop a single scientific, technological and educational space, popularize Russian education, science and culture, foster pride and respect for the achievements of our country.
The residents of the South Ural region have been reminded of the importance of information security during an online press conference on cybersecurity “Cyber Threats: Opinion of South Urals Experts”. Tempus Public Foundation has announced the launching of a new course for Russian students willing to apply for a scholarship in Hungary under Stipendium Hungaricum program intended for studying in Hungary (academic mobility for 1-2 semesters). The languages of instruction are both English, and Hungarian.
The participants will be offered free-of-charge studying in one of the universities in Hungary, a monthly scholarship in the amount of 120 euro, free accommodation in a dormitory, and health insurance.
