On March 11th a meeting was held at South Ural State University between the representatives of the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan and students who came from Kazakhstan to study at our university.
The delegation members included Konysbek Zhusupbekov, Consul of Kazakhstan in Omsk; Anuarbek Rambekov, consular assistant; and Kanat Seitikov, Chairman of the Chelyabinsk Regions Public Organisation of Azamat Kazakh Public Centre.

Researchers at South Ural State University have developed and patented an electroplating stand and a droplet collector, which is part of the cleaning system of this stand.

Unfortunately, over the last years, emergency situations connected with terrorism occur frequently. Teaching of how to behave in such situations might save people’s life and health. Starting from 2019, SUSU’s Independent Certification and Methodology Centre offers training in a topical programme entitled “Personal safety and algorithm of actions in case of the threat of terrorism act occurrence.”

January 31st through February 5th of 2019, first-year students of the Institute of Engineering and Technology’s Faculty of Aerospace Engineering took part in Winter session of CanSat Aerospace Engineering School in Russia.
On the eve of March 8th a tea ceremony was held at South Ural State University. Students from countries in South Asia presented their recipes of tea brewing. It is already for the second time that a tea ceremony is held at SUSU. Last year the international students were making tea from Sri Lanka, which is famous for its plantations – the island where the republic is located for a long time was bearing a name of Ceylon.
South Ural State University took part in exhibitions on International Education in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The International Education exhibitions are large-scale events targeted at development of international cooperation in the sphere of education as well as on providing young people with the possibilities to get high-quality education abroad.
On March 13, the Ascension to Parnassus Poetry Contest will take place at South Ural State University. Young poets of SUSU will participate in the event.
Student Parnassus Literature Association was established as a part of SUSU Creativity Centre in 1999. Liliya Kuleshova, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, is its permanent leader. Fifteen collections of works came out under her authorship.
