"Chelyabinsk Is the City of My Student Years": Students from the School of Economics and Management Attended an Immersive Tour

Students from the SUSU School of Economics and Management, along with their mentors and the School’s Deputy Director for Discipline Work Ekaterina Fediay, attended a "Chelyabinsk, the City of Your Student Years" immersive tour organized by the “Youth Attraction Centre” Autonomous Nonprofit Organization with the support from the Chelyabinsk City Administration.

The tour began at the main building of South Ural State University and ended at the South Ural State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University. Along the way, students learned many interesting facts, as well as mysterious legends and traditions of Chelyabinsk universities.

"These fun excursions are very useful for students, especially those from other cities. They allow you to see Chelyabinsk not only as an austere industrial city, but also as a city with an interesting and sometimes romantic history, developed culture, architecture, and, most importantly, wonderful people," noted Ekaterina Fediay.

The meetings were magical: a sea of smiles, genuine interest, and incredible energy! Students truly experienced the atmosphere of our city, learned about its unique charm and attractions, discovered a new side of Chelyabinsk, and made new friends!

Student of group EU-126 Viktoriia Zaitseva shared her impressions:

"I really enjoyed the tour. It was dynamic, fun, and informative at the same time. The fact that we had headphones on and were practically cut off from the outside world allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the tour. We saw Chelyabinsk not as an industrial centre, but as a city where students have room to grow, develop, and find inspiration."
