"Heart of the Urals" Advanced Engineering School and Advanced Engineering School of Don State Technical University Discussed Cooperation

Director of the SUSU “Heart of the Urals” Advanced Engineering School Sergey Taran and Deputy Director for Research and Development Igor Levanov visited the Advanced Engineering School of Don State Technical University (DSTU), the Institute of Advanced Mechanical Engineering “Rostselmash”, as part of a working meeting.

The participants got acquainted with the Don Engineering Centre and production sites. The top managers of the two leading engineering schools discussed promising joint projects and opportunities for cooperation in engineering education and innovative developments.

The “Heart of the Urals” Advanced Engineering School and the DSTU Advanced Engineering School are working on similar tasks. The DSTU Advanced Engineering School trains engineers for Rostselmash: they create smart equipment for the Russian agro-industrial complex. And the SUSU Advanced Engineering School trains engineering leaders in engine building and special vehicles with new technologies.

“The visit to the DSTU Advanced Engineering School confirmed the high potential of our cooperation. We fruitfully discussed joint projects, exchange of experience and development of innovative projects in transport engineering,” commented Igor Levanov on the working meeting.

Such a meeting strengthens interuniversity cooperation, opening up new opportunities for joint educational programmes, exchange of experience between teachers and students, as well as the implementation of scientific and technical projects in the field of intellectual technology.
