SUSU Scientists Will Participate in the Regional “Science Days”

The “Science Days” in Magnitogorsk will be held at the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University October 23rd–24th. The event’s main goal is to strengthen the role of science in the sustainable development of our region.

This event will become a platform for building an effective communication between experts in the fields of science, technologies, and innovations, and representatives of government authorities in order to jointly discuss the strategic issues of the scientific-and-technological development of the Chelyabinsk Region.

During the two days, participants will be considering the best practices on joining the resources of the government and the industrial sector for the purpose of implementation of high-technology projects and will be discussing the issues of training highly-qualified personnel required to ensure the technological sovereignty of our region. They will also determine the main trends in the development of robotics, metallurgical and nuclear industries, and will assess the contribution of the humanities sciences into the solving of the priority tasks of our region.

Heads and representatives of the regional and federal authorities, educational and scientific-and-research organizations, state corporations and industrial enterprises, as well as engineers and developers are invited to participate in the “Science Days”. The delegation of scientists from South Ural State University to visit this event will include 23 people.

Holding of the “Science Days” will facilitate the solving a number of important tasks: attracting talented young people to science and research, popularization of the sphere of research and development, as well as updating the scientific-and-technological agenda in our region. The result will be the elaboration of certain solutions aimed at strengthening the positions of the South Ural region in the fields of science and technology.

Among the organizers of the “Science Days” are: the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region, Ministry of Education and Science of our region, “Regional Infrastructure of Education and Science” Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization, as well as the hosting university, the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University.
