"We can list many qualities that could help you become a professional lawyer, like attention to details, hard work, being thorough in everything, and many other things. But I believe that first of all you must be honest in what you are doing, honest before yourself and those people for whom you will be offering your services. Both professional and humane honesty are very important. And of course, you must understand that a modern lawyer is a person who must be in command of broad and deep knowledge," noted Pavel Astakhov.

"My advice to those students who are just in the beginning of their path in this profession: be more curious – this is a very important quality for modern young people. Do not limit yourself by the academic programme disciplines, expand the boundaries," Pavel Astakhov addressed the students. "Your main task is to try and see beyond the horizon of life, events and knowledge. And once you learn how to do that, everything will work out and you will always be one step ahead of others."

After the official part of the event, Director of the Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities Lidiya Lobodenko took our guest on a tour around the Mediafloor, a unique space that includes SUSU-TV Television and Radio Company, SUSU Radio Station, Student Media Centre of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, Photography Studio, and Media Laboratory of Virtual Reality and Neuromarketing Technology.
