At one of the largest technological platforms in Russia, Technoprom-2025 Forum, the team of the SUSU "Heart of the Urals" Advanced Engineering School demonstrated their innovative developments in the field of artificial intelligence. Vladimir Shepelev, head of the Digital Transport Logistics educational programme, presented a report at the roundtable discussion on the “Practices of Advanced Engineering Schools in the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies”, which was organised at the stand of the Federal State Autonomous Scientific Institution “Sociocentre”.
Vladimir Shepelev spoke on artificial intelligence technologies in the development of digital urban environment aimed at improving the efficiency of maintaining urban transport infrastructure. The main goal of the work is to develop a high-tech solution for assessing the pollution and quality of cleaning of the street and road network, which allows for prompt monitoring of the condition of city roads and optimization of the operation of municipal equipment.
“Our project is aimed at improving the operational efficiency of the municipal vehicle complex through an objective assessment of street pollution and cleaning quality. The use of artificial intelligence allows us to significantly save resources, such as water, energy and expendable materials, and reduce maintenance costs. In addition, the web interface with real-time reporting ensures transparency and convenience for all participants in the process,” emphasized Vladimir Shepelev
Participation in Technoprom-2025 at the venue of the “Sociocentre” federal operator allowed engineers of the Advanced Engineering School to demonstrate the level of their competencies and strengthen cooperation with leading industrial and scientific organizations, stimulating the development of innovations at the regional and federal levels.
The implementation of the Advanced Engineering Schools project is organised within the framework of the “Youth and Children” national project.
