On September 1st, our university's Foreign Citizens Testing Centre opened after a large-scale reconstruction. The flooring in the Centre were refurbished and the walls and ceilings were painted − a well-thought-out business interior has been created, which will become more comfortable both for staff members and visitors. For many foreigners, acquaintance with Chelyabinsk and Russia begins here, and the university staff have made a lot of efforts to create an atmosphere of hospitality, friendship and cooperation.
The Centre carries out standardized state control of the readiness of citizens of foreign countries for active educational and professional activity in the Russian-speaking environment. In the Centre, you can take an exam in the Russian Language, History of Russia and the Fundamentals of Russian Legislation to obtain a patent or work permit, temporary residence permit, or residence permit. Based on the results of the testing, a certificate of state standard is issued.
In December 2024, South Ural State University had been included in the state list of institutions authorized to conduct exams in the Russian Language, Russian History and the Fundamentals of Russian Legislation for foreigners.
