The Admissions Campaign at South Ural State University gains momentum. Aleksandr Erlikh, enrolling in the Institute of Engineering and Technology, has become the ten thousandth applicant who has presently submitted his documents to our university.
Aleksandr has chosen the programme in Automation of Technological Processes and Production, which is among the top most in-demand fields in our country.
"SUSU has everything to offer in order to start a good career that opens up a multitude of prospects before you. It's interesting for me to try my hand in this field. I believe that our country is in need of specialists with knowledge and skills in technology, who are also able to properly apply these in practice. My family helped me to choose the field of technologies, where I could learn production, its processes and understand what kind of equipment and specialists are required for functioning of an enterprise," shared Aleksandr.
Mikhail Ivanov, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, personally greeted the ten thousandth applicant of SUSU. He welcomed the future student, wished him academic success, and stressed the relevance of the field that the applicant selected. The Institute Director shared that this major is being actively developed, and students already from their first year of studies start working on real production tasks, and gain not only theoretical knowledge, but practical experience as well.
"Automation Engineering is something that helps launch any process. For example, operation of robots or drone-type devices – all of that is covered by automation engineering. It is a fascinating field of study, graduates of which know how to create an enterprise, or a production site that would practically have no people working there. Currently, this is a huge trend, and applicants enrolling in this programme find themselves in a relevant sector, which is being actively developed in the Russian Federation," noted Mikhail Ivanov.
The Admissions Campaign is in progress at South Ural State University. Applicants for state-funded programmes can submit their documents till July 25th.
