At the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom-2025”, a ceremonial signing of a bilateral agreement took place to support the implementation of a top-level educational program in information technology between South Ural State University (SUSU) and “Kompass PLUS”, LLC.
“Together with South Ural State University, we are creating a top-level educational program aimed at training young specialists in the field of information technology,” said Natalya Rashchupkina, Head of Human Resources at “Kompass PLUS”. “This is undoubtedly beneficial and necessary because we, as manufacturers and businesses, understand the critical need for well-trained personnel. It’s also important that new employees adapt as smoothly as possible. Therefore, we hope to develop a program that provides students with strong foundational knowledge and numerous additional specialized skills they can later apply at our company.”
By collaborating with industrial partners, the university aims to ensure that graduates are not just IT specialists but also capable of leading product development projects.
“In this regard, it is crucial to immerse students in the environment of real enterprises from their very first year. Our industrial partners – Chelyabinsk Forge-and-Press Plant (CHKPZ), PJSC and “Kompass PLUS” – help us achieve this,” explained Alexander Gollai, Director of the SUSU Higher School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. “Within this program, partners will help introduce future specialists to their professions by offering internships and real-world industrial tasks. Our goal is not only to provide theoretical knowledge but also to ensure practical training for graduates.”
Additionally, a bilateral agreement to support a top-level educational program in artificial intelligence was signed by SUSU Rector Alexander Wagner and “StandUp Innovations”, LLC CEO Igor Grigoriev.
“From a development perspective, we see opportunities for collaboration in methodological experience exchange,” commented Igor Grigoriev. “We are aware of SUSU’s advancements in activity-based games and in developing skills among students at the Faculty of Economics. We recognize the significant value SUSU cultivates within its walls – through the competencies, high-quality knowledge, and experience of its people – while also engaging in federal and international agendas.”
Participants of the ceremony expressed confidence that this cooperation will lead to significant results and new achievements for both students and partner companies.
