Students at Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service Develop Youth Policy in our Region!

The "Friend from the South Ural Region" regional program is a unique educational project implemented in the Chelyabinsk Region, aimed at developing active youth. The program covers many aspects, including economic, cultural and social development, which allows young people to acquire new knowledge and skills that contribute to their personal and professional growth.

The goal of the program is to increase the involvement of concerned young people in the life of our region, as well as to develop their competencies and skills necessary to fulfil their own potential. Participants in the program have the opportunity to learn from experts, take part in non-standard practical projects and develop the strategic thinking necessary for active participation in the life of their communities.

We are proud that out of 750 applications from all over the region, our students were included in the TOP 150 best and became participants of the six-month training in this program!

One of the program participants, Irina Karabatova, student of the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service, shared her impressions:

"I truly believe that we, young people, can change a lot in our region. The program gave me confidence in myself and my abilities. I am glad that I can study and develop together with such wonderful people who also want to create something significant for their region. I am looking forward to the next stages of training and new challenges!"

The students will have three more off-site trainings ahead, where young leaders will be able to exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as work on new ideas as a team. These meetings will be an excellent opportunity for further development of active youth policy, as well as packaging ideas for future projects.
