BRANT Plant and SUSU Continue Cooperation in Training of Highly Qualified Specialists

Yet another excursion and practical seminar on the topic of “Operating Modes of Heating Points” was held at the BRANT Energy-efficient Equipment Plant. Students of the AC-325 group studying in 08.03.01 Construction programme, in Heat and Gas Supply and Microclimate of Buildings speciality, visited the production facility together with the senior lecturer of the department Svetlana Degtyar.

The excursion and seminar were organised by the company’s specialists. Together with students, they went from theory to practice. They explained how the heat supply system is arranged in real conditions, and clearly showed how heating points are designed, assembled and tested.

During the excursion, the students learned about the work of key departments: from the sales department and the design bureau to the electrical installation workshop and the production line. BRANT plant specialists answered questions, shared practical cases and showed operating equipment.

Such meetings are not just excursions, it is an important point of contact between educational theory and real engineering work. The specialists of the BRANT plant take the training of students seriously and try to share their experience so that future specialists already at the stage of studying understand how processes are arranged in modern production, because it is on such examples that a conscious understanding of the profession is formed.

The BRANT plant constantly provides internship places for students and is an employer of future graduates of the Department of Town Planning, Engineering Networks and Systems. More information about the BRANT plant, internship places and employment can be found at this link.
