The All-Russian forum Yugra International 2024 wrapped up at Nizhnevartovsk State University. The event brought together 100 students, including 70 international students obtaining their education at Russian universities.
South Ural State University, with the support of the International Office, was represented by 5 international students from Peru, India, Bangladesh, and China.
For three days, the participants worked on interactive platforms in three tracks: "Employment. Yugra Enterprises", "Business and Entrepreneurship", and "Business Planning". The students underwent training in generating business ideas, creating business models and presenting projects with regional and Russian experts, business coaches and entrepreneurs. As part of the stated topic of the forum, the participants went on excursions to industrial enterprises in Nizhnevartovsk.
The guys were delighted with their work with the experts. They met fellow-thinkers, were inspired by their teams and learned a lot of interesting things about the history of Yugra.
“The forum was a great opportunity to learn from industry experts in fascinating workshops. I got a chance to communicate with experts and make many new friends. The highlight was the simulation game where my team developed and pitched a business idea that was both fun and useful. Plus, the city tour allowed us to appreciate the charm of Nizhnevartovsk, making the experience truly unforgettable,” Das Anupam, student from Bangladesh, shared his impressions.
At the end of the event, the students defended their own business projects. The teams analysed the risks and opportunities. The experts of the competition committee noted the prospects of each business idea. All participants received memorable gifts from the organizers and the forum partner Sber.
